RemoteSound - Using the iOS device as PC Speaker App Reviews

I know my iPad speakers wont replace replace the quality of real speakers, but as I dont have any speakers right now this app does the job perfectly. Having some sound is better than no sound at all. I would recommend having a strong connection to your router with your computer and iPad, otherwise sound quality and latency could suffer. Well worth the $1, thank you.

I like it, just what I spent about 3hours looking for. 4 stars though cause theres still a bit of a delay when playing normally(not in sleep mode or doing anything else). Hopefully theres an update soon to make it better. :)

Silly to have an app for an iPhone that isnt compatible with your Mac Laptop, Ive been looking for an app like this for a long time, no info in the info section stating that its not compatible with Mac. Very disappointed.

It can be used while watching movies - if youre not a hardcore gamer, you can use it then, too! (the sound delay seems to be lower than half-a-second...)

It works without a hitch, and does what it is supposed to do. I do not have any serious quality problems for casual movie watching. I am using it with a Windows 7 machine.

The lite version scared me because it was low quality. But I bought the full version and its great! You can run it in the background, and there is no lag and the sound is great. Works great when Im sitting in my bed and want to put headphones in.

It worked the first time, but now its saying something about the IP adress and cant connect with my PC. Im using the same internet connection.

The app runs perfectly-for at least a minute. And then it stops playing sounds, yet remains connected to the server. And I know for a fact that it is not my internet, given my connection speed and ability to connect to high-traffic servers. As far as I can tell, the app does not work well at all.

Lite version sounds the same, which is bad. Waste of .99

It keeps being disrupted. I cannot enjoy netflix at all.

Most of the time this app works great, and has far less delay that the competitors. However, sometimes I get extreme crackling interference and delay. I havent been able to find a reason for this yet, would love if there was a fix

Tryed every thing but will not work. Looks like it works on only very few sound cards. Definite will not work on windows 8. Try the lite version buying this.

Great app.. audio quality is amazing.. hoping it wud function better even when the keypad is locked.. next update remove the info notification when a connection is closed.. Please update soon

Sounded like garbage at first. Now it wont even connect. Would of gotten more enjoyment throwing $.99 cents out my car window while driving!
